It is not easy to choose a future profession. If you decide to
enroll the Faculty of Economics, you have a big chance to become
successful economists, statesmen, managers, businessmen,
brokers, entrepreneurs, specialists in banking and stock
exchange business, experts for auditing, accounting and similar.
In order to satisfy your needs, the Faculty of Economics
organizes modern teaching, combined with the information
technology and foreign languages studying.
By implementing the new methods in teaching, and creating the
European mobility of students and teachers, we wish to make our
educational system more efficient. Being aware of the fact that
we have to enable our students for the present and also for the
future economics, we especially take into consideration the
effects of globalization and the trend of substitution the
state-political influence with the corporative-economic one in
the process of teaching.
Therefore, our aim is the high standard of education and that is
why we have intention to educate the new generations, according
to the reformed high school system which has the following
characteristics: openness and integration, a flexible and
competitive approach, a positive attitude and optimistic spirit,
as well as critique conscious development, high moral standards
and academic autonomy.
Today, the Faculty of Economics presents the institution which
provides the necessary educated staff by its own scientific and
expert human resources. It also generates and improves the
reform process in Montenegrin economy and society, throughout
the positive transmission. In that way, we
significantly contribute to the development of market economy,
democracy and civil society. Our ambition is based on the
strategy “searching for solutions”- how to lead our society
through transition, from industrial society to the society of
communication and liberalism.
The achieved results and acquired position, at the same time
present the special responsibility which obligates the Faculty
to be in the center of social changes and to maintain the status
of the progressive and high quality educational institution that
it already is. From our long experience, we know it will not be
easy, but we hope that, with your help, we will successfully
continue our started mission, in spite of our environment full
of the uncertainties, problems and challenges. That is the
