Education

Milica Vukotic has finished elementary and high school in Podgorica. She enrolled the School of Economics, University of Belgrade in 1996, and graduated in 2000 as the best undergraduate student at University of Belgrade in her generation (GPA: 9.56/10). Milica defended her thesis "Chi square test – Table of Contingency" at the Department for Economic Statistics and Informatics. In 1998 she was awarded as the best second year student. During her studies she was a recepient of the „Fellowship for Talents“, provided by Goverment of Montenegro.

As a Ron Brown fellow (fellowship provided by USA State Department) she attendedMaster program „International Economics and Finance“ at the Brandeis University in Boston, where in 2002 she has got an award as the best first year master student in the areas of economics and finance. She has graduated in 2003 when she defended a master thesis "Applied Microeconomics: Health Insurance and Health Care Reform in Developing Countries" (GPA: 3.91/4).

Currently she is working on her PhD thesis: “Microeconomics in the Health Area”.

She has attended many seminars and specializations abroad: in the USA (McIntire School of Commerce at University of Virginia,1999; Bureau of Labor Statistics, US Department of Labor, 2000; Small Business Association, Chicago, 2002), as well as in Europe (CERGE-GDN Annual Conference, Prague, 2005; IMTA (International Management Teaching Academy), Bled, 2005; First Private Sector Development Stakeholders Conference, ATA, Sarajevo, 2005; ICER (International Center for Economic Research, Torino), 2004; Liberty Fund Conference on Property Rights, Hamburg; 2004, Mont Pelerin Society Meeting, Hamburg, 2004, Istituto Bruno Leoni Seminar on Richard Cobden, Milano, 2004; Euromoney Conference, Cavtat, 2004).

Milica worked as a Management Consulting Intern at the software incubator (Contra Costa Software Business Incubator, San Francisco,California,2002) and represented this company in few organizations and associations.

Taught Microeconomics at the preparatory course for taking CFA exam organized by G-17 Institute and USAID (Belgrade, December 2003).

She is working at the Institute for Strategic Studies and Prognoses as a Senior Analyst.
