The Faculty of Economics has a long and rich tradition of a very spread cooperation with the business and other organizations from its surrounding .The Faculty has the cooperation agreements with more than 20 enterprises.For the needs of certain enterprises a couple of complex projects are being worked out at our Faculty. Our professors and teachers offer consulting services to banks and other enterprises. Few of our professors are involved in creating the new economic system.

Faculty of Economics has been developing an entrepreneurial logic and behavior of the employees who have a total entrepreneurial freedom proscribed by the stated rules that sets the Faculty’s management. For such changes in the fields of entrepreneurial behavior in the process of education and researching, the Faculty of Economics got the prize of the Economic Chamber of Montenegro, which was the first time to give such prize to an “uneconomic” institution.

The cooperation with business and social environment is institutionalized within the activities of the foundation “The friends of the Faculty of Economics” and other researching centers formed on the Faculty in last few years as well as through the Postgraduate studies and The Business College. In the last three years the Faculty has been participating in the realization of the TEMPUS project called “The Management of Small and Medium Enterprises”.

Faculty of Economics is partner within the  TEMPUS project titled “Upgrading undergraduate business studies in FRY” .With the University of Pittsburgh, USA, the Faculty has a three-years-old cooperation aimed on the practical training of the teaching personnel, promoting of the teaching methods and modernization and enlarging of the textbook fond.

The openness of our Faculty for the cooperation is reflected on the teaching activities held by the well-known professors from our country and abroad, as well as the respectable businessmen.
